Phoned-in Covers.

Killing the Blues by Rowland (Roly) Salley has been covered by some great singers and duos. From Alison Krauss and Robert Plant on Raising Sand to Shawn Colvin to John Prine. The song and cover versions were being discussed last week by some of my facebook friends.

Here is my version, first take in C after a false start in D. Recorded on iPhone6, next to (crappy) PA speaker. Little Butter, vocal, Mandocaster 12 electric octave guitar, Everly Box harmony (Digitech Vocalist Live FX)

Added to my solo performance set list.
